Job Summary
We are seeking a faithful and dynamic Elementary School Teacher who is committed to the mission of Catholic classical education. The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic who loves children, delights in the Church's intellectual and spiritual tradition, and desires to cultivate wisdom and virtue in young hearts and minds.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach core subjects (including religion, literature, grammar, writing, math, history, and science) through the lens of a classical Catholic worldview.
• Model and instill Catholic virtues and moral character in students through word and example.
• Design lessons that are rich in content and aligned with classical pedagogy, emphasizing narration, Socratic questioning, memorization, and wonder.
• Participate in the liturgical and prayer life of the school (e.g., daily prayer, daily Mass, feast day celebrations).
• Maintain a joyful, orderly, and disciplined classroom that respects the dignity of every child.
• Collaborate with faculty and administration to support the intellectual, spiritual, and social development of all students.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents as partners in education.

Qualifications

• Practicing Catholic in full communion with the Church.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related liberal arts field (Master’s preferred).
• Strong understanding of and commitment to Catholic classical education (prior experience preferred but not required).
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to foster a love of learning and to cultivate wonder and virtue in students.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching in a classical or Catholic school setting.
• Familiarity with classical texts, Church documents on education, and Catholic liberal arts philosophy.
• Willingness to grow in understanding of classical pedagogy and the Catholic intellectual tradition.
